Creating my shining year!

Hello hello, it’s 2016! Welcome to The Future (which I always accidentally type as ‘furore’; I must get stern with my subconscious).  I was intending to write a gushing review of my favouritest, most usefullest, organising-success-making workbook, in the hope that it would help someone as it has helped me. But it just sounded sycophantic and weird, so I’m going to keep this short and sweet:

Leonie Dawson is a wonderful, magical, rainbow-unicorn hippy mama, and also one of the most successful entrepreneurs in Australia. She has produced a ‘Create Your Shining Year’ workbook – you can buy one for your Life, one for your Business, or go all out and get the Life/Biz bundle, which comes with a fab weekly planner and year-planner-poster. It is aimed squarely at female creatives (although there’s likely to be a more toned down, masculine-energy-tapping version next year, by popular demand, and this isn’t in any way to say men are excluded (and if you know me you know how I feel about the whole ‘this-is-for-boys-this-is-for-girls’ nonsense anyway)), so it’s not your usual boring business planner. Leonie’s style is relentlessly positive and optimistic, so I appreciate that may not be for everyone, but it gives me a fabulous glittery kick up the arse every day and I love it. I am several hundred times more organised since finding these workbooks, my income doubled last year, and I just keep getting better. So anyway, if you use this link here to purchase your books (or the link on my homepage) I do get a kickback, but honestly I would recommend these without that. I’ll leave you with some pics, so you can make your own mind up. But if you’re serious about making 2016 your most shining year yet, this is one of the best. (Note to self: Add “Learn to take better pictures” to my ‘things to do in 2016’ list)

Each month in the weekly planner starts with a month-to-view, and a prod to focus on your goals

Year planner, Life planner (2016 big dreams and small 'things'), and my first week back at work :)

Both books break down into focused sections. Life: Family, spirituality, dreams, home, etc. Biz: Marketing, systems, goals, customer support, etc.

Vague dreams? No, achievable goals! Biz and life. I've gone from 'yeah I'd love to do that' to 'This is how I'm gonna do that'

Oh, and Leonie has free colouring pages to download too, so even if you don’t want the books, get you some therapeutic colouring done 🙂  Happy 2016 y’all, may it be shiny and chrome x
